Wedding Rehearsal

So, here is the blog about the wedding rehearsal dinner and the actual day itself. My wedding was held at Elkhorn Valley Christian Service Camp. My fiance (at the time) and I decided that camp was the perfect place to have our ceremony because that is where we met the first time. My friend, Joyce, and I both worked at the camp during the summers and she had met Sean while they were on a mission trip to Jamaica. She and I were hanging out inside the chapel on the camp ground and Sean found us. Joyce introduced us and the three of us talked and laughed and Sean stole my shoe. That was the first time we met. The second time we met was through a mutual friend named Jessica. Sean had been a facility member at a week of camp that Jess attended and then she re-introduced us when we all went rollerblading. (Which I suck at, btw). Sean and I hung out with Jess a few times after that and then Sean called me and asked me out to see Night at the Museum. I said yes. In that one date, Sean automatically assumed that we were boyfriend and girlfriend. I didn't think anything of it until he introduced me that way to one of his friends. I thought that Sean was the weirdest person I had ever met! But something about him caught my attention and that interest grew. I became attached and I will never let go. I love him. I am so glad that God put him in my life. Sean and I were married in August, the day after his birthday.

I wish that I had a picture of the actual dinner itself, but after dinner, the whole wedding party went down the zip line  at camp to  relax a bit.

This is me with my bow bouquet from the Bridal Shower

My father is practicing giving me away to my husband-to-be!
